    Group Teacher (Part Time)

    Young England Kindergarten, Pimlico We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Group Teacher to join our wonderful team at Young England Kindergarten. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years practitioner who loves helping young children learn, grow and thrive in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Start date: January 2027 The role As a Group Teacher, you’ll be a key person for a small group of children aged 2–3 years, supporting their learning and development through engaging, play-based experiences. Your working hours are Monday to Friday: 8.00 am to 1.30 pm, term time only. Working closely with our teaching team and families, you’ll help plan and deliver activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), monitor children’s progress and create meaningful learning experiences tailored to each individual child. You’ll also play an important part in welcoming new children and families, building strong relationships with parents and carers, providing outdoor learning opportunities and helping us maintain the happy, safe and supportive environment for which Young England Kindergarten strives. We’re looking for someone who:
    • Holds a Level 3 Early Years Education and Childcare qualification or equivalent
    • Has previous experience working with young children
    • Has a sound understanding of child development from birth to five
    • Understands the EYFS and play-based learning
    • Has knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
    • Is a warm, confident and effective communicator
    • Enjoys working closely with children, families and colleagues
    • Brings a friendly, flexible and positive approach to their work
    • Is enthusiastic about learning and continuing their professional development
    Hours Term-time only. Monday–Friday: 8.00 am–1.30 pm. Salary Based upon experience and qualifications. Why join us? If you are just entering this industry, there are Level 2 and 3 qualifications offered to you to start your career; if you are an experienced Early years practitioner you can progress your career further with a Level 5 management course, foundation degree or teaching degree.
