Young England Kindergarten is a family owned and run nursery school that was established in the early 1960’s.
Conveniently located next to the beautiful gardens of St. George’s Square, our open-plan setting is filled with natural light and has a stage as well as teaching rooms. Our children have daily access to expansive lawned gardens as well as a private courtyard. So, whether it’s outdoor play or indoor learning, we’ve got plenty of opportunities for your child to thrive.

Our Kindergarten is situated in a spacious setting next to the gardens of St George’s Square which is located in Pimlico (City of Westminster). The setting is light, airy and has a stage at one end, plus an additional teaching room. We have access to the large lawned gardens in St George’s Square, where we also have our school allotment, providing plenty of opportunity for outdoor play.
Children are encouraged to explore their potential by our highly qualified staff, developing at a relaxed pace that is both rewarding and fun.

We have a two-termly intake. Children may start in our Spring Term (January – March) or Christmas Term (September – December). Children are welcome to start with us in the term after they have turned 2 years old.
5 mornings per week (8.45 am – 12 pm)
Additional afternoon sessions are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (12 pm - 3 pm)

Our last inspection was on 7th March 2024. We are very proud to have been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating. This is our second consecutive rating at the highest level.

Children are highly valued by a long serving, deeply caring staff team in this very close-knit nursery. Children often see the nursery as ‘their second home’ as stated by a parent spoken to during the inspection. Staff take great care to greet each child very warmly on arrival and build very close bonds with children.
The curriculum is extremely well thought out and linked intrinsically to children’s skills and interests. All children make excellent progress. They are deeply engrossed in a very broad variety of highly absorbing and stimulating activities.
Staff teach children about the world around them in very well-structured and enriching way.
